first of all, this is a fucking great idea for a forum.

I took my first ever mushroom trip last October at the ripe old age of 16, i know im young but i knew what to expect and had wanted to experience it for quite some time. Anyway i was at a friends mums who knew all about them and we'd just picked loads from the local park the week before and they were nicely dried out so my mates mum who i will now refer to as T because my mates mum is getting a bit annoying to type and makes it sound like a lie if i call her that, anyway before my lack of attention takes me somewhere else she put about 50 mushrooms (the tiny ones) in a jug of water and whacked it in the microwave for about 9 minutes on low, when it finished she sieved out all the mushrooms and i had just the juices raw (yes the dirty earth taste kicked me in the tongue). After i drunk it all she took me out in her car before i came up to some nearby massive fields. When we got there i got out of the car and took one last look into the car and just saw the objects smiling at me, at this point i was like ohhhh yeahhhh. Anyway we went to the fields and we were at the highest point and i just took a look round and my mind just fucking exploded, i remember looking up at the clouds and they resembled Fatso from the film Casper (do a google search if im talking gibberish to you) and all they were doing were lifting there arms away from their sides and putting them back down, but everytime their hands went back down to their sides more clouds would come out of their mouth. I looked back down to the field with a big grin on my face to see trees stretching from field to field and what looked like a time lapse of a day like when you see on the telly where clouds go over really fast and the suns going constantly in and out on a loop by this point i remember thinking 'why isn't anybody else doing this'. T was just laughing away, obviously with her having her wild years in the 90's she had good experience in the whole trip field. Sounds sounded better than any surround sound money can buy, T's dog was dragging what looked to me like a rather large stick, it looked comically large in its mouth, but the sound it made as it dragged it along the floor through the leaves was crazy, it echoed all the way through my ears and then came back and echoed through the other side. When we moved from the field i remember being on this Leafy path that just seemed to be getting longer and shorter each time i took a look up, it would look as though people were walking toward us and when the time got there for them to pass, they wouldnt even be there. Then my phone rang, one thing i suggest to first timers is to turn your phone off unless you want to come across as a total nut case, all i could here was hello hello hello <-- thats my text attempt at an echo anyway the call preceded in me getting confused by echoes and having to tell them that i was actually too fucked to communicate with them. When we got back into the city center i felt constricted, everybody looked like robots walking round hurrying off to their office blocks, something about the city centre seemed not right, i didn't feel as free as i did on the fields so we went back to T's house and switched on a ren & stimpy dvd, T asked me to roll a joint whilst she went to the toilet, she came back to find me with rizlas stuck to my forehead, one thing i've noticed as well, smoking a joint is weird as fuck when you're tripping id explain why but its a bit tricky to explain. Anyway we decided to call it a day and i went home with a new interest, hallucinogens =], I've since tried acid that was cool ill probably post in the acid blog later about that. I think what puts people off is the whole 'Bad trip' side of mushies and lsd, i took into consideration that id only have a bad one if i was somewhere i didnt want to be with people i weren't close to, i think people think its like flipping a coin, you either get a good one or bad one but its nothing like that. I'm not all for drug promoting but if you've got your head screwed on and know what to expect it's an experience worth having.
